Land Rover Driving Experience

 

At Essexoffroad the whole day or half-day is all about what YOU want. If you have never experienced the excitement and challenges of offroad driving before then prepare to be thrilled. If you’re an experienced offroader then we’ll give you an extra bit of bang for your buck. Our instructors will work with you and will know exactly what level you’re at and what you feel comfortable with before you get out on a course. Whether you want to beef up your experience, or learn new skills from scratch, we’re there for you. Then we’ll show you the course and explaine how to tackle the hazards – the steep ups and downs (very steep!), corkscrews, mud swamps, and water hazards and so on – so that YOU can decide how you’re going to tackle it. If you need advice and guidance on any aspect, then just ask. Safety is paramount, of course, and your instructor will outline some simple dos and don’ts to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable day. One of our instructors will then drive a course with you (we have three levels of difficulty), just to give you a feel for it, and then it’s all about what you can do. If you want to take  friends and family – then that’s OK too. Of course, if you’re new to the game then we’ll have made sure you know the vehicle controls (essential tools of the trade) and that you’re up for the challenges ahead. If you’re an experienced driver then we’ll be keen to see how YOU do it – . Whether you’re with us for the whole day, or one of our half-day driving adventures, rest assured you’ll have the experience of a lifetime. Also, don’t forget we offer the Polaris Experience, the only 4x4 track in the UK to do this, and this is a whole new level of driving fun. Get on down here and show us what you can do.

If you want One-to-One training from an expert to get the best out of your vehicle over extreme terrain then this is available at Essex Offroad at a rate of £100 per hour. All aspects of advanced driving skills on challenging country are covered and what you learn will give you a lot more pleasure when negotiating the courses with knowledge and confidence.

Essex Offroad does require a £55 deposit per vehicle, which is fully refundable if it is returned undamaged.

Two options available: winch challenge training or trailblazing. Half-day starting 9.00am - 1.00pm or 1.30pm - 4.30pm. Full-day starting 9.00am till 4.00pm.

we recommend you wear appropriate clothing ie: ankle lenth boots, jeans long sleeved shirt or jacket.
